Waliby Creek Falls, Washington state.
When I reached this falls it was earlier in the day and although still a beautiful scene, I knew I wanted to capture it latter in the day with different light. After exploring the area, I went back to this spot in the late afternoon. I stood on the bank below the falls and took a few shots but I felt like I needed to be closer. There was only one way and that was to get into the water. I took off my shoes and rolled up my jeans above my knees and waded through the very cool water. After I reached this spot, that is when I noticed the golden light reflecting in the water as that was not visible further back. The gold color in the water is the reflection of the golden hour light. I extended the legs on my tripod and submerged the legs into the water, positioning them such that they were in a solid spot. Standing in the water you can feel the cool breeze blow past you due to the narrow canyon. After taking a few shots, I had my finger on...
