Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. View of Walton lighthouse, Santa Cruz. This is taken from the main beach in Santa Cruz. I had just taken some early morning photos and I was just sitting on the beach when a higher wave came in and when I looked to make sure I was not going to get wet, that is when I had the idea for this shot.
